I have a 05 XC90 around 68K and my radio is acting up. Most of the time, it won't turn on but there will be days that it will. Anybody know what this is? or why it's happening?

Any suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance.

 

Radios are hard to diagnose as are most electronics......I think with those, the easiest thing would be either get another OEM radio (which is an easy swap) or just get an aftermarket one. You ca usually find Volvo factory radios from a number of sources online or thru ebay..

 

XC90 with a radio problem? You better take it to a dealer so they can hook the VIDA up to it. There are like 6 modules that control or are related to the radio. Either that or pay a shop to do an aftermarket install.

 

Is it hard to hook up an aftermarket radio to it? i tried looking for a harness online but i couldn't find one.
