Does anyone have a recommendation for parts supplier and manufacture for break pads and rotors fo 2013 XC90 3.2L Type R?

 

For rotors I tend to stick with the major OEM suppliers - Zimmermann, Bosch, Brembo or find a dealer web store and go genuine Volvo. For pads, the choices are a little big more involved since there are different compounds (ie organic, semi-metallic, ceramic etc) that have different pros/cons for their usage. For example, most OEM Volvo pads are organic for a best feel/all around performance but throw the most dark dust. Ceramics throw the least dust (usually tan), have good resistance to fade but the worst initial bite - (ie making them have the least feel for around town driving). I've tried em all and I'm back to organics and will use genuine or one of Volvo's oem suppliers. Some of the Volvo friendly parts sites (FCP, IPD etc) will show both the OEM suppliers and the compound type for you to choose from.
