Default Rear seat entertainment system set as default

New owner here. We purchased a base model 2012 with RSE. We had to go back to the dealer to have them show us how to get the DVD to play through the car audio system. This is how it worked on our previous car (minivan) and that's our preference for now. The problem is that we have to set it EVERY TIME we get in the car. Meaning, every time the car is off we have to do it over. Of course this we didn't realize it until after we left the dealer. Is there any way we can just set it once and be done with it?

The procedure to set it involves the remote and the OSD of the player so I have to be looking at the screen in the back. Its really inconvenient to do it every time.

Our system is the 2 headrests that each have a DVD player. The center armrest does not have the aux inputs nor is there an RSE toggle switch in it.

Thank you in advance for the help!

i don't know but your car should have a separate RSE manual which should cover this if it is doable.

solution: i've become really good at changing the settings from the front seat without having to look at the menu. fyi its: pic menu, down, enter, down, down, left = haduken!!!! (except for the haduken part)
