Just bought a used 2005 XC90 - very nice vehicle but did not realize that remote was not included and necessary to get the rear seat entertainment (RSE) to operate. Dealer wants $150 which is absurd.

Does anyone have an extra one they would like to sell? Or, I'd prefer just to get the remote codes and program a universal remote instead - someone out there must have the remote codes for these...

Any help is greatly appreciated!

UPDATE: Just bought ceiling mount DVD accessory system for my '05 XC90 on eBay - comes with screen, DVD player, 2 wireless headsets, and a remote. DVD player looks identical to the (broken) one I have and I'm hoping the remote works for the dual-screen RSE.

Give your local dealer a ring, it probably costs less than what your are expecting to pay.

 

I have a 2007 xc90 with the dvd player in the center console, I need a remote also if anyone has one for sale.
