I have an '05 XC90 v8, and for the past week I noticed the right rear wheel made a single hop (like I ran over a stick) while making a sharp slow right turn or starting in traffic. This single hop would occur after the vehicle is already in motion. I checked the tires, brakes (including emergency brakes), and rear axle. The vehicle runs smooth and there is no obvious noise that would relate to bearing or cv joints. Could this be an issue with the differential acting up? Any ideas?
