Replacing the brakes on my 2008 XC90
I am close to replacing the front brakes on my 2008 XC90. Does any know if there is an electronic wear sensor attached to the brakes? On MY BMW there is a wire that is exposed when the linens get to a certain point turning on a light on the dash. I would assume Volvo has something similar but cannot find a reference to it. Also what pads and rotors do folks use and where has been the best place to purchase these items? Also has anyone documented the procedure?
Thanks in advance for any assistance

Be Careful on XC90. Call your dealer and give him your VIN he will tell you what size rotors and discs you require.
Even if models are exactly the same, depending on WHEN it was build changes the size of the rotors. I've had this happen to me.
I use Akebono Euro Ceramic Pads and ATE Original PremiumOne Pads.
I also your ceramic rotors and this removes the brake dusk around the wheels.
