Default Are the replacement transmissions ok?

I'm new on the forums here, and am looking at a 04 T6. Its got around 90,000 miles and transmission has been replaced. I wasnt aware of the trans problems until the seller told me there was an issue. So I'm wondering if they are replacing the transmissions with the same defective trannys, or has the issue been fixed so I wont have the problem a few years down the road.

I love the looks of the Volvo, but I tend to buy used vehicles and drive them for ten years or so. And I will admit the 11 grand asking price is a stretch for me, but have saved up almost enough cash to purchase it. But as I read horror stories about breaks, timing belts, lights, etc, it looks like I might be better served by purchasing a different vehicle. I know any vehicle without warranty poses a certain amount of risk, but it sure looks like the T6 has had more than its share of trouble.

I told the seller I would only be interested if I could get an extended warranty. Are there extended warranties available out there when you purchase from a private seller?
Thanks for your opinions!
