I have 2017 XC90. I Folded second row passenger down and it stuck. Dealer had to remove seat to address issue of a broken latch mechanism. The dealer was able to place/lock the seat back in upright position but now I’m unable to fold the second row passenger seat down to accommodate cargo or access to third row.

Dealer informs the seat mechanism has been redesigned and only option is to return raise/lower functionality is to purchase new seat ($2400).

Anyone with similar issues?? Or recommendations??

 

If the seat can't be repaired without replacing it, go used. Check out car-part.com or ErieVoVo for used seats from a recycle yard
