Anybody out there know how to reset the service reminder message without going to the dealer? My wife has a 2009 XC90, and even though the message disappears after a while, it annoys her. I have been doing all the routine maintenance on her car myself, because Volvo's free maintenance for the first 35,000 miles is "no maintenance". Most cars have some combination of ignition key position changes, or such, to avoid having to go the dealer. Thanks for any help.

Try this:

key to position I

then press and hold odometer button

turn key to II and wait for the triangle to start flashing before releasing it whilst still flashing.

It makes a beep sound and the message disappears!
