does anyone have any idea how to change the passenger side mirror? the mirror i have is memory, folding (not electric folding). wife wiped out the parts so i need to replace the entire mirror.

its a 2007 Volvo xc90 with power, lighted & heated mirrors, but not electronic foldable. its the passenger side mirror.

no answer yet. just need to know whether i need to pull the door liner and if so, how do i do that too? any help is appreciated.

 

ok here is how to do it:
first yes you have to remove the door panel and the tweeter speeker.
Remove the handle using a weatherstrip tool. Start from one side.
Remove:
the cover at the base of the door mirror
the 2 screws.
Pull off the panel.
Remove:
the connectors the cable.
Behind the tweeter there is a bolt wich attach the mirror to the door. remove the bolt and the the mirror is off. This is how to do it and to put the new one just follow again the instraction and you ll be good to go.
