software conversion US to EU
Brought XC90 (2016) from the US to Europe. Local dealer says that it is impossible/forbidden to convert software to the European version. I cannot use the road sign recognition nor the navigation (maps available only for North America).
Can someone confirm that Volvo car is strictly capable of having only the software version for the region is was manufactured?

Region change.
Hello everyone. I have the same problem with region changin. The official dealer in Iceland declair that it is no possibility to change the region. But I found it out at least in Lithuania who are doing that. So for sure is possible to do it. Just google it in your country like Volvo region change. If someone are interesting about Lithuanian guys Iam adding the link of them
