Default Spark Plugs

Hi guys,

Can I use two sided spark plugs instead of single side in my volvo xc90 2005. I heard two sided are more powerful to use as well great on fuel consumption ?

Thanks

I'm sure you can use them. Just about any of them will work. Not sure about if the car will run better or if you'll get better mileage.

Give it a try and let us know. I would give the car 1,000 miles for the computer to adjust to them before you decide on the results.

You can use them, but there really isn't much advantage. Electricity takes the path of least resistance, so the spark will not go to both sides at the same time. It will go to one, until it wears down and then go to the other. So theoretically, the spark plug would last longer. However, since the center electrode wears as well, I wouldn't go double the normal mileage just because you use these plugs.

I always recommend OEM plugs
