Can someone tell me if this is the transmission dipstick in my 2006 XC90 2.5? I tried to pull up on it but it didn't budge and I am afraid to pull to hard as it seems it will pull right out from the bottom? Figured I would ask here first to see if this infact is the dipstick and if there was some trick to it. The yellow tab on top (in the circle) spins and seems to be able to also lean/wobble a bit. Not sure if the wobble is normal or not?

Never mind, I found it. what is pictured is the transmission breather port. The dipstick is directly under the radiator hose, closer to the radiator.

 

Interesting. 04 XC90 2.5T has no ATF dipstick.

Where is it? The manual says no ATF fluid change is needed and no indication where the dipstick is located. ???

 

Under the lower radiator hose, just like he said.
