I have a 2004 Volvo XC90 T6 and my alarm keeps getting set off. I usually set it by the remote and had not had any problems with doing that until recently. Now everytime I lock it with the remote, the alarm goes off and when I get in the vehicle it says to check the vehicle because the alarm has been triggered.
Today I have been locking it from inside of the door and it has not been going off.

Has anyone else had this problem?
Or does anyone know what the problem could be?
I have tinted windows so the vehicle does not have the MMS sensor.

try disconnecting battery for like 15-20 min. - it may re-set it. When reconnecting cable, have ignition key in position II in the ign. lock.

*** Locking from inside does not engage alarm just locks the doors.
Anaother option is to disable the alarm either by dealer or by pulling out some fuses.
