Hey Guys,

So cleaning the car, I found this part in the rear were the battery goes.

I cant figure out were it goes.

Are you talking about the empty space left when you remove the complete arm rest?

Why will sombody will want top remove the arm rest and drive without it?

Maybe I am missing somenthing?

Yep.

I've never seen one in the US, but there is a cold box accessory that basically makes that into a cooler. That's the only reason I could see someone wanting to remove it. And I would assume they are made the same as the non-cooler version so that's why it can also be removed.

It they made it easily removable to make it easier for us technicians to remove the console. If that's the reason, it would be the first and only time that has ever happened.
