Forgive my ignorance but I don’t understand the bit about the ECM/CEM that you wrote.

 

I assumed you were trying to get the CEM covered by the major emissions warranty, like the ECM is. Even though your car is beyond that too.

Time to be responsible for repairing your own car. Amazing how many people think they shouldn't have to do that but still own a car out of warranty.

 

Considering how little you know about my particular situation, your lecture is unhelpful at best. And the details of the situation are irrelevant to the question at hand.

 

Good luck trying to get someone else to pay to repair your 9 year old car simply because you don't want to. You're the customer everyone loves.
