Windshield Wiper Trouble

Wipers abruptly stopped today on our '08 XC90 3.2 I switched fuses and switched relays to no avail. Any ideas or experience?

If not the relay or fuse, it may be either the stalk switch or the wiper motor/gear itself. Is the wiper stuck in the "park" position or in mid-swipe? Did you try to manually assist the wipers?
