The wipers on my 2005 XC90 stopped working. Well the passenger side started it. I figured, hey, still got the drivers side right? That was until it stopped working on the highway one day...in the rain.

Removing the wipers was simple. Just take off the covers and remove the 13mm nut holding them on the stalks. Actually the passenger side wiper pretty much fell off after taking off the cover.

Instead of replacing both arms I put them back on adding a washer between the nut and wiper arm. This provides just a bit more pressure to hold them in place and they're working better than ever now.

Just a quick fix for those interested. I imagine I'll eventually have to get new arms but this will work just fine for now.
