My 2008 xc90 3.2 145k overheated in heavy traffic today. I noticed the fan was not coming on. Turned on the ac and no fan movement. How can I test the fan? What is the 3 prong outlet on the schroud for near the fan connection plug? Would like to correctly diagnose before buying a new fan.
