XC90 Broken fuel door latch (not solenoid/pin issue)
I recently got a 2013 Volvo XC90 to use as a daily beater, and after filling it up the first time noticed the fuel door would not latch/lock. Strangely enough, it's not the solenoid (the locking pin moves correctly), and while the hinges are also broken, it's actually the part on the door that is broken (see picture).
I can't tell if this part is separate from the fuel door or not, it looks like it is integrated and I'll have to replace the whole fuel door. If it is repairable, can someone shed some light on how best to do that? And if it is not repairable, what is the best way to get a new fuel door painted?
