I have the notorious position light out warning. Front position lights (tiny lights around the head lights) are out as is rear fog light and rear position light. Easy fix I think. Bought by bulbs at the dealer, put them in and none work. Swap them for the other side bulbs that are working, and those don't work. New bulbs work on that other side so bulbs aren't the issue. HOWEVER, when I push the the rear fog light button, the fog light doesn't come on but the rear position light comes on, BUT it comes on much brighter than the other side. Swap the bulb with the other side sister bulb and the same thing happens on the same side - it's as bright as the brake light. So I buy the bigger rear light "harness" - the one that contains the brake, backup light running light and turn signal sockets and that doesn't solve anything. So I buy the the little harness that plugs into that one and snakes down to my fog light. Still have the same dang issue AND the front postiion/running lights still don't work. I checked the fuses for the fog light and parking lights/running/position lights and they all are fine. I'm thinking those little front position lights an the rear fog light and rear position light are connected somehow? Tell me I'm not the only one to encounter this and please share a solution. Proper bulbs, working fuses, new harnesses. What's next...other than kerosene and a match.
