I have a 2007 Volvo XC90 with the normal halogen headlights. I was driving on the highway in my Evo one day and looked behind me to see another XC90...with projector headlights!!!!!!! I was so suprised!! Then I waited for it to pass me as we got off at the same exit. It was a new XC90! The body style looks identical and so do the headlights. I wanted to know if anyone knows of a website that sales the prjector headlights for the XC90?? Or of there is a vendor on this forum that sales them? Or maybe willing to "retro fit" the stock ones? I went to the Volvo dealer here in town and I had them pring out a price estimate of what they would cost PLUS tax, from a new XC90.... Yea... get ready for this.... $3300 bucks!! And that's for the Non-Mobile projector headlights. I could imagine if I asked for the ones that move.lol Anyway, again.. my question is if anyone knows of the website to buy the projector headlights for the XC90, or what vendor on this forum sales them?? The XC90 was available with these hadlamps from 2007... I even had them fitted on my 2003.

 

Oh, you won't get the moving/bending action when retrofitting btw.

I'd also like to know more about installing the HID lamps on my 2010 xc60. I'm asking here since there's no forum for the xc60 yet. Thanks for any help.

 

If you are just wanting HID's, you can purchase them from the dealer or I would actually reccomend going to a trusted local vehicle specialty shop in your town. If you don't know of any specialty shops that deal with Volvo's specifically, try getting with stores like PEP BOYS or CAR TOYS. They do GREAT work!! CAR TOYS should be able to order a set of HID's for you with ease.
The thing I am talking about goes a little beyond HID's. I am looking for projector head lights (the headlights that look like they have the little Terminator robot eye-***** in them). If you don't have those type of head lights, shoot me a personal message and I'll fill you in on the details. Hope this helps
