Hi all, am new to the group. I just got a 2004 XC90 T5 with 214k miles on it. I just got it last Wednesday and so excited to own one. I would say it drives better than my V70 which is also a 2004. Last Friday on the highway cruising at 55 mph the engine suddenly died. I have 125 miles left on my tank as the gauge says. I turned on my hazard lights and coasted to the shoulder, started the engine and it started right up. No hesitation at all. Few miles later i gassed up and scanned for codes, nothing. I am scared to even drive this to work because it involves highway driving and back roads that go up and down for 30 minutes. I felt lucky to be home with no engine stalling the second time.
has anybody had the same problem and what did you do to fix it. The previous owner said that it has a new fuel pump.
