Hi All.

I'm new to this forum and also to Volvo ownership. I have a 2020 XC90 T8. Wow, what a car, with the hybrid. Taking a bit to get used to, as seems really big. So a couple of questions, before I head to the dealer to ask. Sorry if this is silly.

1. My turn indicator sound (rhythm) is off. Is this some sort of safety feature (there are a lot of them)? So it sounds like every other car I have had, but then speeds up and slows down. So just not a constant sound. I took a recording to playback to the dealer. Anyone else has this?
2. When I turn off the car there are some strange noises that come from behind the dashboard. Like clicking sounds and vacuum-type sounds for the first five minutes. It is so loud I can hear it even outside of the car. I have never had a car that has such a symphony of noises after turning off. Is this normal Volvo stuff, or an electrical fault lurking.

Your turn signal changing speeds doesn't sound normal. It should not. The only time it should go faster is if you have a burned out bulb. Given these have LED's for turn signals I doubt that is what you're experiencing.
The noises when you shut off may be normal - maybe not. I don't have a T8 but you might have some cooling fans for batteries etc going on... often coolant pumps continue running in modern vehicles if they are hot after shut off etc. Just take it to the dealership if you think it's odd... or call then and ask them or take a video and post to youtube and share here and or with them.
