My XC90 about 42k miles V8 awd, when I slow down then re-accelerate I will hear a clunk sound. Feels like one part of the car slow down then the new faster speed from transmission “catch” the slower portion of the car from somewhere. Is this possible inside the transmission or more like transaxle / driveshaft problem? It is an all wheel drive. Any feedback will be appreciated.

I took it to the dealer; they have a technician sit next to me for a test drive. I cannot duplicate the problemI think the new set of tires fixed the condition. They were two new and two old tires. Now it has two new and two near new tires.
