Hello, I recently purchased a 2005 D5 XC90 Auto. I have an error code P0700 and service light for transmission. Firstly,I want to check the transmission oil level. I have the one with the dipstick. My question is- what conditions need to be met when checking the ‘cold’ level - should the engine have been running or should be running when you do this? Or is it proper cold level when the car has been sat for a few days? Similarly, should the ‘hot’ level be checked when the engine is running? Or after it has been driven but then settled on level ground? Thank you!
