Hi Folks. I am hoping that someone on here could recommend a competent, affordable, and honest mechanic somewhere around San Francisco area? My daughter is up there with her 1993 240 and it's got a bit of a problem. It's surging at idle, and will sometimes stall. I know there are some likely causes of this problem, but she knows little about cars and it's pretty difficult for me to do a long-distance diagnosis, and besides, she has no tools.

So, if anyone knows of a good Volvo guy (knowledgeable about the old 240's), please contact me
