Hey guys I have an 04 XC70. I thinking about making it look a little more aggressive and have better capabilities by switching the tires to all terrains. Now I've searched for this and can't find it but does anyone know what size I can safely run with no rub issues? Thanks!

 

Personally I am a firm believer in sticking with an original size. Your XC70 is still a car and steering and suspension components are designed to handle the effects of the factory size tires, not oversized tires. Tirerack.com is a great research site for both available tires, alternate sizes, and user reviews.

 

Thanks pkrface. I probably will just stick to the factory size may just go with a more aggressive tire.

 

I was able to buy a Bfgoodrich g-force t/a, I must say its a great all season tire, grip is superb and handling is a Ok. I also use it is in some of my light off road trips and mud rides.
