rim width on a 2000 S40?

Default rim width on a 2000 S40?
I have a 2000 S40 that I'm putting rims on and I wanted to know if anyone knows if a 18x8 with a +45 offset and a 225/35 fit? More or less I need to know if the rim itself will fit more so then the tires.
