PCV System - I replaced everything except for"C". It is least likely to plug and adds complexity and complications to the job. On it I had to replace the hard plastic tubing that goes from the left end to the banjo fitting. Be careful, if you break the little ribbed connector on the banjo fitting then you'll have to replace that whole assembly which is the difference between $85 in parts and 290 for the who kit.

The left-most bolt won't come completely out unless you remove more stuff. I chose to just slit the new gasket hole instead. It doesn't effect the seal around the ports and is way, way easier.

You can see the drain hole into the block from the bottom of the PCV oil trap was completely had-packed clogged. I very carefully cleaned it out keeping as much of the stuff out of the engine as possible and the used a cloths hanger wire to "ream" it out the rest of the way. I used a minimum of solvent to help the cleaning.

I only intended to remove a couple of things so that I could try just cleaning the banjo fitting inlet. Rubber and platic tubing started tearing and breaking -- old and brittle -- and I had no choice but to go ahead with the more complete tear down and replacement. Good thing in retrospect.
