Alarm triggered messages
Hello,
I have a 2000 S80 2.9... She just rolled over 200000 [sm=yeahsmile.gif]
I read over the other alarm issue posts, my problem is similar to some of them but slightly different.
I believe the problem startedaround the timemy battery started dying. During the night the lights start flashing without any alarm, the little red lightflashes fast and the message "Alarm triggered check vehicle" is on.I reset it and all is ok for a few hours until it does it again.I know no one is messing with itbecause I've seen it start flashing with no one around. (I've never actually seen/heard the alarm "be triggered" on this car, except for the panic feature)
Could something need reset due to the dead battery or is this going to be another... e'gads... part that will need replaced?
Oh yea.. The panic button doeswork as the lights flash and horn sounds when triggered.
If you know what may be causing this I'd really appreciate your reply!
Thanks!
Michelle
