I'm new to this forum - but I'd love some advice. I have a 1999 V70 that doesn't run. It has transmission issues, and will not pass an emissions test. I'd like to get rid of it - is this something that I can sell for parts or should I just scrap it? The body is is decent shape, but there are some issues with the interior beneath the steering wheel. Is there a best forum to sell an old volvo?

You primarily expect to sell it locally, so probably craigslist would be your best bet. Certainly parting it out and scrapping it would be fine. Look on craigslist and you'll probably find some other people have non-running V70's for sale that you can compare.

You could unload the car pretty quickly on Craigslist for the right price. There are people who are always looking to buy these old Volvos, whether that be for parts for to fix up.

 

What's your interior look like?
What about exterior pieces such as headlights?
