2000 v70 turbo won’t run?
hello, since i have bought this car i have had many issues. I have replace the following:
- turbo control valve
- crankshaft sensor
- maf sensor
- battery
- tune up
car was running really good for up to four months after replacing all these parts, then on my way home from work one night i noticed my RPM’s fluctuating.. but never dropped speed. Then while at a stop it started to spudder. When i started to accelerate i then started to lose power and finally car stalled on road. After sitting for 20 minutes roadside it finally cranked over. Put car in drive and would not reach 20mph and when tried to speed up it stalled again. This time can’t even get car to crank over. Have all electronics and battery and alternator are good. Could this Be fuel pump? Please help

could be fuel pressure related. try jumpering the fuel pump relay to see if you can get the car to build up fuel pressure then measure at the rail. Also you may want to read up on the symptoms for a failed ETM (Pretty sure the 2000s were the first year with the electronic throttle).
Confirm you're getting fuel and spark first. For fuel, just press the schrader valve on the fuel rail (with a rag over it to avoid spray, use safety glasses as well... I'm not getting sued!
) and if you get a spray of fuel, you have fuel. As for spark, remove an ignition coil and move it so it can jump the spark to something (motor mount bracket) and crank it over. MAKE SURE YOU DON'T HAVE ANY FUEL NEARBY from testing for fuel (I would actually test spark first).
That being said, your symptoms sound like your ETM is bad. Of course, it could be your fuel pump if you're not hearing it and you don't have fuel at the rail, but you would have to determine if that's working first.
