Default 99 V70 NA to Turbo

I'm sure this gets thrown around a lot but I am going to do it. I am going to a junk yard in the next few weeks and I called the guy and he said he had 34 Volvos, so I'm sure at least one of them is a turbo. It's my first car, had it since I was 15, so I've had it 7 years. I will be doing all the work myself. So I'm just wondering if anyone else has any tips and if you've done it yourself, what parts do I need? On my list to get: Turbo manifold, stock turbo, new gaskets, oil lines what size?, vacuum lines, exhaust flange which one?, where is the best place to tap the oil pan and which is fitting is best to use? I'm really just looking for something to do, I love working on my car. I've made exhausts before so I plan on making my own. I'm making a custom FMIC set up. Just let me know what you guys have to say, good or bad.

The compression ratio in the non turbo cars is not compatible with a performance turbo build, which is why the factory 2.4 turbo cars have a low pressure turbo. You're going to spend lots of time and money for marginal gain. If you want a turbo, you're better off selling your car and buying a car with a 2.3 turbo.
