Default Battery? Starter? Alternator?

My '98 V70XC wouldn't start this morning. It will turn over and make a clicking sound and then nada. All the lights and warning dings are working so I wasn't sure if it could be the battery. Some research says it could be. I did check all fuses and they seem to be fine. But how can you tell on the mail fuses if they are burnt out?

My battery did die a couple of weeks ago in single digit temperature and I had to jump it. It was bought new in 2009. Could it really be the battery? Or am I safe to assume alternator or starter?

your battery lasted for about four years you should be thankful... I would start by having that tested. Or if you have a multimeter check to see if you have 12v when the car is off and has sat for a while.
what brand battery is it?

edit: From what you said before you had to jump the car. Have you tried jumping it again? does it start and run after a jump with no problems?
