clutch pedal stud broke
So my dear daughter is cruising down the road, pushes in the clutch and it makes loud bang and goes to the floor (35 mph). Her 1st in car emergency. As she is on her permit, dear dad is next to her and says "coast across the lanes and pull into that parking lot." (Sunday morning, no traffic). While checking it out, I find the stud on the side of the pedal for the master cylinder sheared. Popped it back together enough to nurse it back home.
Now how the heck do I get that clutch pedal arm out and put in a new one? It looks like it has a really long bolt for a pivot that is shared with the brake pedal.
Part looks to be 9169129 or 9191520 (not 9173743). Unsure of how to decipher which one is correct. Car is 1999 V70 5 speed manual non-turbo 268K miles and going strong.
Looks like I will be standing on my head for this one. Posted on Mathews Volvo as well.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Well, ordered the part and disassembled pedal under the dash. I removed the front seat and knee bolster and used a piece of plywood to smooth out the bumps. All totaled about 1.5 hrs and no major problems.
This was easier than I expected.
