I have a 2000 V70 XC. The car runs great, with the exception of some hard transmission shifts.
It doesnt happen until after the car/transmission warms up. Then the hard shifts start. I have seen quite a few posts about this. I saw a good one from Tony1963. It seems like exactly what I need. But the solenoid hyper linked in his post, says it wont fit my car. Also, where are these solenoids physically located on the car?? How hard are they to change??

I would appreciate any help.

 

I would try a fluid change before anything else.
