Default HIDs

Alright so I'm putting HIDs in the Volvo, there are caps behind the headlights covering the light from condensation I'm guessing. What have people done if installing HIDs? Keep them off? Drill a hole in the cap? Let me know! Thanks in advanced

I am looking forward to replies. I don't wanna make a hole, so really wondering what the alternative is.

Sorry for the late, late reply. I have, in the past and with other cars, just replaced the caps over the wires running to the bulb with no problem. I have yet to find a suitable alternative to the halogen setup on my current Volvo Though. Either one bulb or the other doesn't stay lit, they flicker, they give an error code or something else with the Volvos. I'm interested to know how your worked out.
