Angry random ignition problem

1998 v70R Hi, just wondering about a new problem I'm having...sometimes when i start the car the radio and a/c and other interior electrical equipment doesn't come on unless you wiggle the key does the whole key ignition need to be replaced or is this just a loose wire somewhere? thanks for any advice

Default Ignition problems

Chances are it's the pin side (left side) of the ignition switch, it can be replaced by removing 4 star screws under the steering column below the switch, 2 more slotted screws on the switch and remove from wire harness, replace and put cover back on...just did my 850 and my v70...they are a common problem on these cars. You will need a long star screwdriver to get at 2 of the screws.
