Rear Windows Won't Go Up- Dialectic Grease
Well my rear window wouldn't go up. I searched around and figured out that the silver big fuse #37 under the normal fuses (remove the cover with 4 torx screws) was the issue. I swapped the fuse and got the window up. I also used a toothbrush soaked win WD40 and cleaned all the contacts before putting the the fuses back in the original slots. So it seems the fuse is fine, but the contacts were bad. So everything seems fixed for now.
My real question is this, should I apply a light coat of dialectric grease on the male contacts to avoid issues in the future? I assume I should, but I just want to confirm that it won't damage anything prior to do it.
I guess I should be asking my father as he is an engineer from MIT with a graduate degree from Stanford, but I figure you guys will know the answer too.
Thanks in advance!
