Grease front suspension/steering
We have grinding/squeeking in front end when turning sharp when parking. Are there grease points up there that should be greased when getting an oil change? I doubt whether this has ever been done.
Reviving an old thread because I have the same question. My '98 V70 squeaks horribly in low-speed turns. It is not the steering column bushing. The sound is clearly coming from behind the left front wheel as the steering causes the suspension components to articulate while under load. With the engine running, it is very difficult to isolate the source of the sound. It does not happen at full lock, so I doubt it's the steering stops.
