You can use a 15W40 as recommended in the owners manual. It's a little thicker and will give you a little more protection. The manual doesn't list 10W40 but that would be a better choice too if 15W40 is hard to find in your area or it's more expensive.
Full synthetic with a good filter. You cab go with any brand or also look for auto parts stores house brand. At times autozone, napa, oreilly will sell their own branded oil and a filter for really cheap. Stay away from Fram filters as they have been know to cause lifter noise on start up.
I use a Bosch filter, people also recommend Volvo or Mann brands.

-4F To 100F (-20 To 38C) .......... SAE 10W-30 API SH/CD
Greater Than 14F (-10C) ............. SAE 15W-40 API SH/CD
