Default Transmission solenoid replacement

Just did the torque converter lockup solenoid and the one I replaced was dead- it did not read any resistance at all! I am writing this while waiting for my gasket maker to dry so I have not done a test drive but if the dreaded flashing arrows are gone I can say this was a successful repair. I followed a guide found online to remove the front transmission cover which is quite a bear but I wanted to give my advice if you ever want to replace solenoids- you can remove the cover without a few steps the guide mentioned. I did not remove the lower rad hose as it was able to move out of the way and the transmission dipstick also can remain in place. I also used a foot long board underneath to raise the height of the engine from underneath instead of using a transverse engine lift/holder (I do not own one) The real time savings is not having to drain and refill the coolant. I will find the original post and give credit as soon as I can find it. The basic process: remove battery, remove airbox, remove front motor mount bolt, remove transmission mount nuts. Raise engine with a jack placed at the center of the engine/trans where they mount up using a board. Loosem all 4 bolts of the subframe and remove left front bolt (closest to the front pan) and pry that corner down approximately 2 1/4" and put a socket or solid metal object there to create the room needed to free the pan. the trans cooler lines have to come off and there are several t40 bolts holding the pan on. It really isn't very hard if you have a 1/2" breaker bar you should be able to drop the subframe. I used only hand tools.
