In the interest of full disclosure, I don't personally own a Volvo. However, my mom owns a 99 V70 GLT that I think is just about the coolest thing on four wheels. I've been catching her up on maintenance items recently but ran out of time before I could get around to the brakes.

In a time crunch I bought new rotors (front & rear) to avoid having to turn the existing rotors. However, after I got the old ones off and measured I found they still have plenty of life left in them. They need to be turned, but the local O'Reilly does it for $12 each - that's considerably less than the cost of new rotors.
