V70 volvo base model
Anyone out there have an operator's manual for this model? Also have problem with the dash warning lights-ABS light on, service light soon on, Tracs light off light soon, green triangle light on. I have done a major brake job on this vehicle as well as other repairs. Unit runs well, have excellent brakes but these lights are driving me nuts. Maybe I need the ABS module? Thanks in advance, Old iron nut.
What year? The ABS pumps are known to overheat and the soldered connections are known the crack in the P2 generation. You would also need to get all the modules in the car scanned with a capable scanner to see where the problem might lie for a proper diagnostic. Were the lights on before the repair?
Service light is just a service reminder that you can reset. There are videos online depending on the year.
I checked and see you are in Canada, the green light is a "Euro CEL" (Lambda Light) I believe it has to do with fuel trim, but I am not 100% as I am in America.

Service manual? As another has asked - What year car?
Abs/ tracs - scan for codes with compatible scanner
Service light - reset (it means it's been xxxx miles since the button was pushed to reset it, it's simply an oil change reminder)
Green triangle - scan for codes with compatible scanner
A common fault on the early V70 cars is the ABS module develops cracks in the circuit board's solder joints. There are several vendors who rebuild/repair that have some good diagnostic tips on their web sites including Xemodex and Midwest-ABS. Plenty of vids discussion this issue on youtube as well. That said, you still need to start by scanning for fault codes as it could also be related to the ABS pump, wheel/speed sensors etc.
what year is your V70? Starting in 2000 or so, Volvo started using the odometer reset button as the way to reset the service indicator light. You can google for the exact procedure for you year but for my 2000 S40 it goes like 1) ignition off, press trip reset 2) turn ignition on to position 2 (dash lights on ) wait 10-15 seconds you may hear a beep and the service reminder will flash. 3) release trip button
