will 00 2.4lpt head fit my 98 t5

hi a,, i have a 98 t5se few days ago it started knocking from the top end on inspection there is considerable wear in the cam journals, would a 2.4 lpt head of a 99 fit with out to much drama,,

I don't think so. You also need to find a post '98 head. I believe the '00 head has non-hydraulic lifters.

sorry its a 1999 v reg plate so was probably manufactured earlier so is there much difference between these years please
