Will a '99 V70 head fit a '99 S70??? Need fast answer please!
Well a few weeks back we had a timing belt tensioner go out on my father in laws '99 S70 with the "B5452S" engine.... it bent the valves on the 1,2 & 4 cylinders.... I found a head onlinethat this guys says will work... it comes from the '99 V70 with the "B5452T" engine... but the real QUESTIONS ARE:........
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE IN THE TURBO AND NON-TURBO HEADS?
ARE THEY INNERCHANGABLE?
This guy is willing to ship it to me complete for $200 and he has sent me photos and looks great and clean... with all the valves and etc in the correct place and guarantee's it to be good.... with less than 95,000 miles on it....
If anyone has a link or some posting on the head swap/ gasket change.. please post them as im not current on volvo stuff... thanks a bunch guys for any and all help!!!, Kelly

Is your engine already taken apart? If so you may compare the pictures of the
head with yours. Granted that is not 100% accurate.
If the "S" stands for sedan and the "T" for turbo, I would figure that it will not
work. Another way is to call a Volvo dealer with a service department around your area and ask. Besides, if you have a mechanic working on your car, he will bring your own head to a machine shop and have it all fixed up and calibrated to spec. There would be no need to buy a new head!
Hope this would help you a little.
