Hi AWD drivers -
I was going to hammer out new front / rear engine mounts last weekend on my 98' V70. Couple of issues - Had no problem locating the front one - having a ratchet nuckle with long extensions is a must btw. For the rear - I don't think that there is one.
I watched the FCP video on the 850 front / rear job. On my care there wasn't a rear mount despite what the FCP tech said. Now one or two things are going on. Either the car doesn't have one because of the rear driveshaft is where it would be or when the front bracket broke the engine snapped off the bracket that that the mount tied into. I've done the side bracket by the water pump and its brand new.
Anybody done this job before? The vibrations are driving me nuts.
