08 V70 “Reduce Speed of Shift Up”
Hi guys,
My 08 v70 recently started to have an engine shake and it gets worse when in reverse or accelerating at lower gears. I brought it in to have it checked out and it came back with cylinder 5 misfiring. So, naturally I got all of the spark plugs and fuel injectors replaced, but to no avail. It was still sputtering and shaking, along with that message (reduce speed or shift up) still appearing and disappearing every now and then.
I’m going to be bringing it to a Volvo dealership anyway to see what else it could possibly be, but I wanted to see if anyone had any ideas of what it could be prior to me doing so.
Here are the codes given:
P0201-00, P0351-00, P0300, P0301

Are those the codes you get now after parts replacement or before? There is no code for Cylinder 5. P0301 is for Cylinder #1.
If plugs and injectors have been replaced than I would look at coils and swap the one from the misfiring cylinder with one from a non misfiring cylinder.
