i know this has been addressed on other volvo but i have a little different question.
with the 2001 v70 the place where the vac hoses attach in the air box is side by side -....- next to each other instead of one top of the other. both are black hoses. looking right at the firewall for direction
one hose attaches left other right side of the thing in the air box.
one hose goes to the bottom of air box the other to manifold?
what hose goes where?

 

One is attached to the manifold which attaches the port closest to the panel. And the other ones closest to the engine attaches to just under the airbox its self. Hope that helps, although I am pretty sure you have figured it out by now.

No worries, I was looking at the same thing. Lucky the Volvo wreckers let me poke my head around a couple of wagons the other day.
